OT treatment focuses on helping people with various physical, sensory or cognitive deficits.

Occupational Therapy focuses on improving a patients ability to complete activities of daily living.

This can be achieved by teaching a person new ways of completing tasks, regaining lost skills and learning new ones.

They materials or equipment that makes tasks easier to complete and by adapting their environment to accommodate a person’s limitations.
